In my last entry I mentioned that, in Wollongong, we met old friends and friends we’d never met before.  Well, let me tell you a cool little story...

 

We rocked up to the Ywam base in Wollongong after Black Stump and as we were un-packing and re-packing our gear, a car full of new students pulled up.  I introduced myself to one of the students since I recognized him from a picture I’d seen at the base there and I knew he was from my part of the world. However, searching the connections a bit deeper, I found out that he was not only from my town but from my church!  To top that off, the reason he was actually in Australia in missions training was because he had seen the very beginnings of the voices presentation (before it was even called voices) in our church when my parents were home several months ago, and it had inspired him to get out there.  Now, how cool is that!
